I went to Tanzania. To Arusha, where tanzanite is born — one of the rarest stones in the world, found nowhere else on earth. I made it to the mines. I sat across from the people who extract it, and we spoke about what it could become. I left with stones I chose myself, and pieces shaped by hand in their presence.
This collection doesn't exist in the world yet.
